So I am in Wichita this weekend for soccer and one thing I have noticed is that there is tons of airports. The beech-craft airport is the wealty part. All the nice homes are lined up along the beechcraft airport. The Cessna is fenced and protected with a military base but the aprons do not connect. The mainline airport (has Boeing factory). There is also an airport two blocks away from the mainline airport. Then up north there are about 6 or 7 other small airports. At my soccer games there are planes going over us in a every direction. We saw some hobbyist flyng warbirds in formation.

Is this supposed to be a trip report or am I missing something?

No, 9M-KTS he is simply making note of the amount of airports in Witchita

He does have a good point, but it's actually close to average, considering it's squishing like the average amount of airports into a small city, so idk.

Isn't Wichita the aviation capital of America, it was where most aircraft manufacturers went in the 20s and 30s to get investment due to the Kansas oil fields.
