Why is the range for the B777-200LR and others so much shorter than real life?

You cant fly a 772LR 11000 miles in real life
with any meaningful payload anyway

you can but now most long range aircraft have additional 'bladder tanks' installed as an optional for more range but fuels tanks aren't add-ons for the game

I have never heard of a commercial aircraft outfitted with 'bladder tanks'. The ranges that currently exist are rather realistic, and if it ain't broke why fix it.

The 777-200LR does have the option of adding aux fuel tanks, and that will be available in AE 4.
