Different types of seats are planned for AE 4.
So, we'll get new seats if AE 4 ever comes out?

on the old AE timeline AE4 was December 2012 but we still have 3.2, 3.3 to go

I dont think that AE4 is going to be released by December, I mean it took almost 2 years to develop 3.1, with at least a year in beta testing. AE4 hasnt even been announced as being in the works really, with only features and a concept screenshot, with beta not in sight, I doubt it would be even close to being fully done by December. I dont blame devs as I do believe they are working hard, but I hardly believe any deadlines set (being that they all got delayed thus far)

All very true, maybe AE4 in beta for this time next year? maybe a few more people should be shown the ropes on how to develop and code AE to speed things up? doubt it
but you never know...
