After i saw in the browse aircraft menu, there is an aircraft that started production before 1950 and ended before 1960 like DC-3,DC-4,etc..

Because of that,i want to request the new classic world that we can use that classic aircrafts. Maybe the period like 1935-1980 or another classic era's :D

Thanks for your attenion :)

Unfortunately, this won't be possible. AE's database starts ~1960 and that was a push to get R1 a valid world.

Adding aircraft earlier than that would require a massive data collection mission, of which BritAbroad wants a serious break from it last I heard. :P (Collecting/Inputting data for 1960-1970 really burned him out.)

i think there is no need to add new type of aircrafts in market until 1960(or maybe add more vintages)...from 1930-1959 aircraft that available in market maybe just DC-1,DC-2,DC-3,DC-4,DC-5,DC-6,DC-7,and other vintages. :D

and,if AE can only starts from 1960,why there is DC-3 and DC-6 and Vickers viking in the Aircraft detail database? Hehehe :D

A 1946 onwards world would be great but would take work to be totally realistic. You would have to add(Croydon, Le Bourget, Templehof, Islip)/remove( Gatwick, London City, Paris-CDG) airports and plenty of planes could be added. How about the Handley page Hermes, sud-est Langudoc, SAAB Scania plus all the Convairs, Martin 4-0-4 and the Bristol Brabazon as a laugh! I am a published aviation historian and would hapilly research this era in terms of aircraft specs. The only draw back is that in real life in 1950 passenger demand would be about 95% less than today, but fares much higher!

Airports run off of one database and don't have open/close dates, so that would be an issue. (AE 4.0 will fix it in about a decade :P ).

As for all those aircraft mentioned, take that up with the data collectors. Quite honestly, they may be a little irritated and worn out from the last data push, but :P .

Finally, the demand and the fares would be something to take up with the developers of the game (Yuxi/un1).

A new game starting 1955 or so would be good. There already seem to be planes in the database for this, that otherwise never get used.

How about those people that really want the time erasget the data themselves. i'll give you an example of what you could send them to speed up the process. it's not all but they might be more willing.

You can always submit new aircraft requests, but you are going to have to find more data from reliable sources (read: not Wikipedia).

We'll need alot more info than that :/ Im afraid AE will not go before 1960 until after AE 4 which is not going to be a decade, it will be twice that :)

I will look at moving R1 back to 1950 after the reset (or add another R0 - 1950 world then). No promises though :P

Partly to allow some older aircraft to appear in the used market when the game starts in 1960.

As for the other requests, a number of older aircraft have already been approved. Its just about finding the time for me to collect and examine the data.

I would like to see a 1945-2012 world, to be honest, if the game could handle it, but that remains to be confirmed and will require more data collection.
