Hi,i've recently started an airline,i've been playing for a couple of days now,but i have a big problem.On the first of the month i have to pay my bills wich is around 20 million,and by that time i only have 3 or 4 million in the bank,so i am -17million debt,by the time i've paid that back i'll hardly have any money,even though my dop is just over 1 milion.I Have 2 a330-300 1 md11 and 2 md83,so pretty similar aircraft to keep maintinence costs down,and i've put my staff on low wages,any help.

How long have you been playing? Make sure you dont operate LARGE cities with HIGH competition when you first start off, and having those aircraft while you are making a DOP of 1 Million isnt going to work out. They cost a lot (Like the MD-11) to run. So, having them when you first start off...isnt going to work out. Try going to decent sized cities and stay with 1 airplane type until you feel comfortable having another type.
What I just wrote was confusing a bit, but I hope it helped!

Yeah, so stay with the A330's as they have good performance. And low mantinence costs. You can sell the rest for extra cash.

Thanks for the many replies,i have decided to save up money to get rid of the md11 its just not a good idea.As soon as i get enough money im replacing the md 80's with a320,we'll see how it goes.

I have currently got rid of the 2 md80s and replaced them with 3 a320's ,i will hopefully be getting rid of the md11 asap,And then just work with a330s and a320

With 1 million DOP don't expect to survive with that widebody jets. Their maintenance is high to enough to kill your airline.

Maintenence his pretty low on the a330,i can service 4 a330-300's for the price of servicing 1 md11.my Dop has since gone upto 2.1million and i'm about to terminate the lease of the md11 and replace with an a330,or not replace it atall,but if i do it would be quite convenient because the seating in the md11 can hold 410 pax,and the a330 can hold 440 pax Looks like the help and advice you guys gave me has helped me alot.Much appreciated guys.Cheers:D

Finally got rid of that dreaded md11,currently no need to replace but will be expanding my a320 family fleet and hopefully more a330's even an a330-200 thanks yet again guys,what a helpful bunch!
