One thing I find tedious is that, when I have two aircraft on the same route, I have to set prices individually per aircraft. Would it be possible to edit airfares for an entire sector? (i.e., having a script to allow you to select a route, and it changes the prices for all aircraft on that particular route)

The whole route system should be reorganized...you should first have to specify times, with different loads/yields for a redeye than something during rush hour, and then be able to duplicate that route. Then, fares should be organized into bucket blocks...a certain number of seats blocked off for each fare class...10 fares@39 for bucket A, 40 fares@59 for bucket, and the rest@79 for bucket C. This would also allow an implementation of first class fares, but that could be for later.

Then, routes would be organized by sectors, allowing you to create/edit fare buckets and set fares specific to that routing.

The way it is now is not very realistic, IMO (understanding that it is a very early version of the system).

THIS HAS BEEN BRAUGHT UP BEFORE...

anyways simple answer: hard to code in... the code would be complex AND long and not worth the time because the current way is fine...

And as miller said or something like "adding classes will take up to much space and bandwidth"

so basically as this has been braught up, and as the result in the others: IT WILL NOT HAPPEN!

BRAUGHT = brought.

Anyway...as far as coding it it would be pretty simple. I don't have access to the scripts but the way they seem to be structured, it wouldn't have much effect on bandwith...it would probably use up more of the database, but it wouldn't have effect on bandwith. Anyway what is with the animosity? People are just making suggestions. Its like you REALLY don't want it to happen, for some other reason...

I don't understand some of the people on this board.

But anyway.

Please know that in my original post, I mentioned nothing about classes, etc. - I simply was suggesting, as the title implies, about setting uniform sector fares, which seems like it should be fairly simple. I had no intention of this thread turning out this way, so I appologize for making Nathaniel burst a blood vessel.
