For the new people like me. I tripped over heliports. They can make you money. They are hidden little gems.

They are (the ones I have found anyway)

I am flying a fleet of 7 S-61 from MCM right off France. My little fleet costs me 330,000 per month in maint, the make me 2 mil per month in profit. I even made MCM a Hub so that I can catch extra passengers to fill a few extra empty seats.

There may be others, but I have not found them yet. The helos dont cost much, but they dont wow you with big numbers in profit either. My most profitable route is only 13,000 per day. But it adds up in the end.

Only been playing about 2 weeks and still learning, so I try to write what I discover and such. I did not see alot of info about helipads in the forum.

well, most there are over 10,000 helipads in the world and only 8 in game.

Maybe we can start adding them. I am a data collector so I can add them.
Problem is they have ICAO's but not IATA's which the game uses.

There are 9 helipads in Greenland alone...
Searching "helipad" won't show them all, as they don't all include it in the names.


We can add helipads, if there is demand, but they must have an IATA. We had a problem before where "improvised IATAs" caused errors.

Add a maximum length filter for the browse airports screen. Would also help with finding airports with short runways that might be under-served
