I have created an IFS Config circa 1982 with this config:

- Snacks x 3 Options
- Pillow: Free
- Blanket: Free
- Newspaper: Free
- Souvenirs: Pay

... and I got a rating of 4 star

Then in 1985 when the headphone is introduced I create a new config + the headphone (Free) but somehow the rating drop from 4 to 3. Is this normal? Shouldn't it go up?

I've noticed, operating 2 airlines.... both with same IFS and similar fleet and routes, the max. passenger profit is never the same, and the rating can also be different between the 2 airlines even before I create any routes lol? strange

The person who created IFS (me ) is picky so offering more food options is good for the rating..

I know I would hate to fly on a longhaul flight where I only get one option for meals!

Oh and the cost for IFS per flight is random (to simulate the fact that pax won't eat 3 meals ), so it will generally never be the same.

Ah right, so is the quoted costs an estimate which changes slightly for each flight? if it does then great but maybe it should say "Est. Revenue Per Passenger" or something along those lines
