How can I check aircraft maintenance fees? What is base cost?

The "base cost" stated in the Air Finance refers to the cost for maintaining a type of aircraft, paid on a per type basis
while "Monthly Cost" is paid on a per aircraft basis, seemingly adjusted with the aircraft's age...
Now, here comes the question...
Is there any way I can calculate, estimate or somehow know these costs before I buy the aircraft?
and what does the "Base Cost" in $/hr units in the order new aircraft mean?

The maintenance cost is proportional to the price of the aircraft - no aircraft have "cheaper" maintenance than others.

Base cost per hour means nothing and will be removed soon.
Oh good. I'm tired of telling everyone that it's a random number we made up.

So both the "Base maintenance cost" (the per type maintenance) and "monthly maintenance cost" is proportional to the price of the aircraft?Base cost per hour means nothing and will be removed soon.

Like a A300 would roughly costs 2 times more than a B737 to maintain?

Which is why a CS100 costs more than an A32X, and most Russian planes cost less as well
Well, Russian planes to me are essentially big aircraft that are pretty cheap, so all the cost should be low...

but how about like say, the b737-200adv and the b737-200 have different prices,is their base cost the same, and the maintenance cost different?
Well, no, maint cost depends on age, not a/c type; but base cost is the same.

Yep.So,it means that there is a steady increase in maint cost as the aircraft ages?
and also which aircraft they use for the base cost,is it the most costly aircraft,or what?thanks for the reply though
All aircraft types have a base cost (big charge), then each aircraft of that type operate has a smaller charge that increases as the aircraft ages.

Hi,
Do you mean Aircrafts under same family will only have 1 base cost?
Means, if I have 767-200, 767-300, 767-200ER, I will only be paying 1 base maintenance? Thank you in advanced.
