I have 2 airlines on the same server. As one of them is really booming, I am shutting down the other. My plan was to sell the wide body aircraft of the smaller airline to the market and then buy them as used aircraft with my larger airline. However, these aircraft do not appear on the used aircraft list. Is there a delay on this ? Or will these aircraft just never get onto the list I see ?

They will appear eventually, but to prevent misuse of multiple airlines there is a random time delay between the sale of an aircraft and its appearance on the market.

Multiple airlines owned by the same player in a world cannot be used to give an unfair advantage to each other (selling aircraft to each other to get around delivery slot limits, flooding routes together to gain market share, etc).

Just keep this in mind.
