Feel free to offer any elements of the game you would either like fixed, or introduced.

It would be nice to have a better overview like a sheet where you can see your competitors in the game....

A research script will be coded very shortly. We plan on including a ranking system, easy-select messaging system, financial reports available to all publicly held companies (at least the publicly held ones), route information, traffic information. and operating statistics. Historical financials along with graphs will be developed shortly after.

It would be nice to see alerts for various circumstances. Such as airlines adding a route that you already have, new hubs created by new airlines, new airline announcements, etc.
I also would like to see more graphical representations of myself and competitors.
Lastly, I of course would love to see more aircraft types...but knowing this is an Alpha-test, I think I can handle what we have for now.
I think once some of the pieces are put together, this will be a very nice sim!

I'm pleased to announce that each one of your suggestions is planned for Airline Empires. A ranking and research script will be coded soon, and we have drawn the preliminary plans for a news script. An example of several of the alerts are: new airlines, bankrupt airlines, new competition on routes, new terminal construction, etc.
More aircraft will be added later. Once we get the game working smoothly we'll be adding more aircraft. There are several airline managers and academics we're talking to in order to bring the most accurate representation of running an airline as possible. This is slowing the development process down a little, but it will be well worth it in the end.

It would be nice if we can see which airplane we ordered and when they will be delivered.

I think it would be great if we could take a look at the aircraft manufactuer backlog before we buy the planes, so that we'll have an idea of when they'll arrive before spending the money. Also, in the gate's pane I think a nice addition would be a link from the symbol of an airport whose gates we already hold right to the buy more gates dilouge

great, thanks.
So now we are able to plan which airplan we will buy in the future.
But are there plans to introduce a possibility to sell or lease airplanes which are not in use instead to sell them as mothballs ?
Pat;)

Yes there are plans for selling and leasing, however there will be catches.
You will only be able to sell or lease aircraft to another player, not to any banks or computer generated players. This means the true value of your aircraft will be what you can get someone to pay for it. Whether we use a classified system or an auction, or both is not yet decided, but it is definately in the works.
Due to the complexity of the system, it will not be released any time in the next few weeks, but I can assure you it will be worth the wait.

Why aren't all the planes that are on the home page in the actual game, wouldn't that make it better?

wow, this is an old topic. It's like bringing back the dead. But, if I am not wrong, the aircraft list on the home page is for v.1, this is a more modern version. Many of the aircrafts on the home page are out of production IRL and airlines can't buy them new, for example 737-200. Miller plans to put an aircraft broker into the game, and you will be able to buy out of production aircrafts from the broker. I feel the same way though, I really wanted a 734.

Well if you say that, then why is the B752/3 A300/310 still being produced?
