Wiping the slate clean (AWIA DC-9)

Wiping the slate clean (AWIA DC-9)

For my first livery, I decided on a reboot of my first (failed) airline I made when I returned to AE this year. This livery is based on the amazing Historical Jetliners Group DC-9-20 (which unfortunately does not release public paint kits for their models), which will probably serve as my airline's "island hopping jet". To start out, I downloaded the simplest texture available from their current list (http://simviation.co...las/dc-9-20.htm), which is the "classic" Allegiant Air livery from 2001, designed by Tony Madge. So far, my work has been painting over the current livery, nuts, bolts, etc. on the first side, which is roughly 70% "cleaned" (I have to finish the other side, too). "Riveting" work, isn't it?
