Thunderbird | Beechcraft 1900D

The Beechcraft 1900D has been the backbone of Thunderbird's fleet since the 1990s. Despite its age, the type continues to provide excellent service and the airline's management has no immediate plans for replacement, although the Cessna 408 SkyCourier is rumored to be the likely option when a decision is finally made. The airline operates the Beechcraft in a 19 seat configuration with a small lavatory (a feature that is uncommon on most 1900s). Leather seats are standard on all aircraft and while seatback entertainment was deemed unrealistic for such a small airliner, the cabins were recently retrofitted with power ports and selected video entertainment is available via the airline's app (if downloaded before takeoff).
