Midwestern “Burgundy Blaze” A320-200 (2015)

Introduced in 2003, the Airbus A320 has played a key role in the airline’s transition from a primarily McDonnell Douglas operator to an Airbus one. It, alongside the A319, A321, and 717 replaced many of the older DC-9-30s and MD-82s which the airline was operating at the time. The A320 currently forms the backbone of the domestic fleet with around 60 in operation flying from 6 different hubs. Though no replacement plans have been announced, even with some aircraft passing the 20 year mark. The airline remains committed to the family for the foreseeable future.
