Navigator B757-200

2018 saw Navigator change its brand image and business model to be a fully premium airline to position themselves as a cheaper alternative to major flag carriers but a more expensive, stylish and boutique to the key LCCs and ULCCs of the country. In order to do this Navigator retired their entire fleet of MD-80s and 717s and ordered the new Airbus A320/21neo Series of aircraft, consisting of 45 aircraft, for a complete overhaul and remodel of the short-haul network, for the medium haul/Trans Continental network the airline launched a multi-million dollar refurbishment and upgrade plan of their, 15 strong, 757-200 fleet to see them through to 2030. To compliment the 15 757s the airline also ordered the 15 A321LRs these subsequent orders led to the airline's initial 45 aircraft to increase to 60. For the long haul network the airline's small fleet of 4 767-300ERs was also sent to through their own multi-million dollar refurb and upgrade plan to see these aircraft also to 2030. In 2019 the airline received its first of 8 Boeing 787-8s, also with further options of 6 787-9s, to join the 767s on the international routes.
