Eielson Airways

Eielson Airways is the airline division of Eielson Aviation Group, which provides a wide range of aviation services throughout Alaska and other parts of the United States. Founded in the late-1930s by a group of Alaskans who wished to help the region grow via air travel, the company was named in honor of Carl Ben Eielson - the famous Alaskan aviator who perished while trying to save a group of stranded sailors. The airline struggled through various periods of challenge, but also achieved high success over the years. Uniquely, it is one of the few carriers which managed to remain relatively small and regionally focused without being absorbed by a larger carrier (although divisions of the company were at various times divested to interested parties). Today, the company operates a sizeable regional fleet along with larger aircraft primarily used for charter and cargo operations. Although the focus of the airline's operations is serving Alaska, routes within the continental United States are operated as well.

Decided to do a little further development of my Alaskan regional carrier.
