Ozan Japan was founded on the deceleration of bankruptcy from the airline of aerosakura. Ozan Japan took over the fleet from aerosakura, featuring an all airbus fleet aerosakura operated 29 aircraft at the date of bankruptcy in December of 2022. At the time of the purchase of assets, Ozan transffered 4 a330neos to its German counterpart while the airline was awaiting further orders.

Ozan has restructured its Japanese counterpart and reduced its fleet size to 21 aircraft with 2 a330-900s remaining in the fleet. Currently Ozan Japan servers 41 destinations.
