Founded in February 2024, Averbe aims to be a true Canadian low-cost airline, not just with a sale here or there. With a base at CYOW in Ottawa, Ontario as it's first base, Averbe will break into the market with its true low fares, providing food, beverages and wifi to passengers onboad (for a price).
Averbe will use a fleet of Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, ranging from the smallest 737 MAX 7, up to the large 737 MAX 9.
Launch fares will be $129 between Ottawa and Calgary, with the first flight using a 737 MAX 8 configured with 189 seats in an all economy configuration. Food onboard will range from bags of chips for $2, up to sandwiches and salads for around $10. All drinks will be $2.50. Wifi prices will be decided upon when the date of the first flight draws closer.

A very interesting concept. I am curious to discover the paint that their planes will wear.
Do you have more information to share with us about the launch flight such as the flight number, the airport terminals from which the plane will depart and arrive, the date and time of departure and arrival, it could be nice to have this information. Thank you
