Midwestern “Burgundy Blaze” Boeing 767-300ER (1998)

Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Midwestern operated a fleet of DC-10-30 on its long haul trans-atlantic and trans-pacific services. In the late 80s, the airline was ready to look for a replacement. With a wide range of new aircraft available, the airline spent its time formulating a final decision. Eventually the board settled on the Boeing 767-300ER, committing to 10 of the type in June during the 1989 Paris Air Show. Deliveries were scheduled between April 1992 until March 1998. It entered revenue service on May 14th, 1992. The aircraft pictured above was one of the last deliveries, having been painted in the 1997 livery directly from the factory.

    awesome!

This is some nice work fitting onto the 3D model. The highlights seem to me particularly well done.

    good job !

Thanks! I spent a couple hours on this one. Full body liveries are notoriously difficult to get right, so I’m mostly satisfied with the results.
    super nice :D

    holy crap this is nice
