Midwestern “Crimson Streamer” (1975)

To commemorate the airline’s 20th anniversary in 1975, designer “Baul Sass” was brought in to freshen the corporate identity of the company. This livery symbolized an important milestone for the company, as even though it only served for 4 short years, it set the stage for all future brand refreshes.

Midwestern was the launch customer of the 727-200Advanced in the early 70s. With a firm order for 16 aircraft, the airline was able to expand its reach and offer newer, further destinations. These aircraft were primarily based out of Milwaukee and Cleveland.
