Hanseflug | McDonnell Douglas MD-11

Hanseflug order 14 McDonnell Douglas MD-11's when the type was launched. All of them were delivered but were converted at a very young age of 12 into MD-11BCF's. While the aircraft weren't profitable in passenger operations, they were highly useful and profitable in cargo configurations. These are still in operation to this day, with only 1 written off after it caught fire during loading in 2007. Rumor has it, they will be replaced by the Boeing 767 Freighter or 777 Freighter in the upcoming years.
