In 1972 a redesign of the first livery was put in place, but would only be truly recognized in the 1980's as it was placed on ARA's iconic 737 Classic Fleet. The latter operated until the 2010's, the original 737-300's ordered by the australian airline being subsequently fitted with winglets.
