It's 1978.
Formed by the Tacoma City Council, and featuring a livery that was designed by a committee of government employees, North Tacoma Airways was a shortlived attempt to increase passenger traffic at the Tacoma Narrows Airport.
Operating for around 7 years, ntair solidered on bravely, attempting to bring scheduled passenger service to this remote part of Washington State. By 1985, the airlinre served Portland, San Francisco, Spokane, Boise, Salt Lake City and Vanouver. On the 26th of September 1985, ntair was formally acquired by the Seattle based Pacific National Airlines and became the basis of the airline's regional services.
At 12 minutes past 2 on the 11th of December 1985, ntair flight NT433 to Portland and San Francisco became the last ntair flight and the final passenger service out of Tacoma Narrows Airport.
