The Airbus A321LR has proven to be a valuable mainstay among many airlines. In Europe, and specifically Scandinavia, these narrowbody jets have been praised for their efficiency and comfort on routes to Washington, Boston, and New York City. Vanden Air Transport has chosen the A321LR to replace their Boeing 757-200s on flights to North America. The basic A321neo, delivered three years prior, withdrew European 757-200s and -300s from service around the continent. As the narrowbody Airbus fleet expands, VAT expects major savings in the maintenance sector. As for clean energy, the CFM LEAP engines equipped on the A321s are indicative of VATs commitment to sustainable aviation.

This aircraft, SE-RES, is the second A321LR delivered to Vanden Air Transport. Delivered in 2021, it typically serves the eastern United States from Stockholm Arlanda and Oslo Gardermoen.
