Boeing 747 200 TGA

Boeing 747 200 TGA

A few days back I saw the first movie of the Airport saga... So inspired by the classic Boeing 707 that was used to film the movie I have decided to recreate the livery but in the future.

The first one is what could be a livery used in the 70s.
Its just an updated version of the original livery, with a more complicated line and the full logo on the tail.

I imagine Trans Global Airlines expanded like Pan Am as a international carrier untill the deregulation, where it could have acquired some national airlines or create their own mainline in the Northeast of the United States. The bases could be Chicago, Cleveland, Minneapolis and Detroit.

i never liked how incomplete the tail looks, with the white spaces in the g and a, but that's on the source material.

only thing I'd suggest is perhaps making the TGA titles larger?

I agree the tail looks a bit strange eith the white spots, but if you remove those it loses its identity, its a dostinctive piece and part of the brand. Without those its very strange and not that cool.

Oh yeah I understand that's in the source material, so thats no reflection on you

Yes, i also like it that way. Also i love how the logo/tail design remembers a bit star trek uniforms... thats why its so fitting for its era, maybe i can call the planes starship chicago etc...
What do you think of the blue line?

blueline works, certainly transitions away from the crazy livery of the 1970s
