After a turbulent start Grand Canyon Airlines (GCA) started to gain a profit and with the help of a loan placed an order for more Boeing 727-200s, this time in the official livery, also used on the first Fairchild USA Metro 3s (later changed from Grand Canyon Airlines to Grand Canyon Express).
