TEST 1F

TEST 1F

Hello everyone, I wanted to create something new here.

This airbus is the first A330-200 to enter service in the hexagonal fleet. The company already had A330-300s, but being limited in autonomy the company wished to have a more recent aircraft than the A340-300 which also had a consequent autonomy.

This aircraft entered service in May 2006 for an English airline, after its first test flight in March 2005.
The French airline finally bought it in September 2009. It made its first flight for the Nice-based airline a few days later between Paris Orly and Cayenne.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, it was kept in service and carried out a number of repatriation flights for nationals abroad, as well as cargo flights for medical supplies.

At the front of the aircraft you'll find the logo of the city of Nice, where the company originated. Under the portholes to the right of door number 1 is the name François Guisol, a poet and historical author from Nice.
At the rear, the registration number and Airbus A330-200 logo complete the aircraft's identity.

This photo was taken at Toulouse airport ( TLS / LFBO ) before the plane took off for Heraklion airport.
