Shiraz Air - Boeing 787-9

ME3 watch out!
Shiraz Air is a Persian Gulf carrier based in Shiraz, Iran. From its hub, it flies to a network of 104 destinations worldwide on a young, state-of-the-art fleet of over 95 modern aircraft. It is a premium airline offering luxury amenities and customer service, award-winning comfort, and a world-class inflight experience. Founded in 1998 by a Supreme Governmental Decree with a fleet of only 2 Boeing 727 aircraft, in a little span of time it has grown to become an industry leader and one of the big global players in aviation, even at its young age, successfully putting its home base, Shiraz, on the world map for aviation, as a travel, tourism business, and trade & commerce. It is expanding at a fast rate, flying more people, to more places, more often, marking its focus on prestige. It is a proud winner of numerous awards and accolades, having accumulated these over the years, which prove its commitment to luxury, reliability, safety, and providing its customers with a second-to-none travel experience, no matter what. In 2005, it set a milestone record and made history in international commercial aviation industry by signing a huge megadeal contract worth US$3.9 billion of orders with Airbus and Boeing at the Paris Air Show.

It competes with the Arabic/ME3 Gulf carriers for the connecting passengers/transfer market mainly from Europe & America to Asia & Far East, Indian Subcontinental, Middle East & GCC, Africa, Oceania, and beyond. Thanks to its central geographical position and strategically located on-the-rise hub between East and West, where the world meets and comes together, it can maximise its schedule and operational efficiency to time its flights for convenient connections, thereby shortening flight times as well as journey distance, and it can also access 80% of the world's global population only within a 6-hour flight range. It invests heavily in its customer service programmes, reflecting its efforts to provide amazing flights whatsoever. It is the ideal choice for customers travelling across the corners of the world, coming together all in one place, bringing people together, better, further.

Pictured here is EP-SYZ, a Boeing 787-9, delivered to the carrier in October 2016. It sports the newest and most recent livery, branding and colour scheme, introduced in late-2014 and early-2015, inspired by the cosmos, universe, and space above us, exuding a luxe vibe, grandeur, and class, a perfect blend of technology coupled with a soothing, pleasing colour palette and elegant hues. Their calming interior design adorned with traditional patterns, and their cutting-edge facilities, set the high standard bar and combine onboard elegance and excellence.

The Shiraz Air Boeing 787 Dreamliner may be spotted flying to these cities: Bangkok, London, Rome, Houston, Munich, Mumbai, Brussels, Riyadh, and Casablanca.

Aris Air also offers a 3-class configuration on the 787-9, featuring its signature luxurious First Class suites, the best in the region.

(now if only it weren't sanctioned...)

This is my second livery yet. Feedback is appreciated.

Why do you keep reposting this?

I made small changes to the livery, I reposted once. Why?

Interesting, why Shiraz and not Tehran?

    Excellent question, thanks for asking.

I have another airline brand for Tehran. This is a boutique airline brand, so it was very fitting for Shiraz, the cultural capital and the biggest heritage centre and city of Iran. Also, it's located near the south of Iran, which is better considering that all Gulf hubs (Doha/Abu Dhabi/Dubai/Bahrain/Muscat) are located close to the south (on the other side of the Gulf).

    This is a cool concept!

My only qualm with this is that the pattern is distracting and wouldn't mesh well on a 3D fuselage. Otherwise, this is a great start and I'll look at your future designs with great interest.

Hi there. Thank you for the feedback, it's greatly appreciated! I will certainly take it into account and improve accordingly. Actually, I agree with you and was thinking the same thing, I might post a revised version maybe sometime. And, thank you for the kind words. Stay tuned!
