How do you fly into China without dealing with all the COVID regulations and without paying 10000 dollars?
Don't fly into China.
I'm sitting at gate A6 here at SFO, waiting for my Cathay Pacific flight to Hong Kong, where I'll connect onto another Cathay flight to Shanghai. In a market where tickets between the US and China can easily reach five figures, Cathay's $1200 round trip through Hong Kong seemed too good to pass up. I bidded $400 for an upgrade to Premium Economy and succeeded, so I will be seated in seat 32H in the premium economy class of this 777-300ER. Interestingly, this will not be my first time on board a Swire Group aircraft. My first flight was on a Cathay Dragon A321, back when they were known as Dragonair still. My family flew Dragonair a ton growing up, up until they became Cathay Dragon, and then, died. This will be my first time on board a long haul Cathay Pacific flight though, and my expectations are high.
excellent work and good trip, I hope I exceed your expectations
Premium Economy is always a banger as is the Cathay brand identity

Ew, Hong Kong deserves independence.

No it doesnt. The Hong Kong Agreement in 1997 declared it is part of China
