NT Airways 1969

NT Airways 1969

in 1969, Northern territory Airways officially shortened its name to NT Airways. As their primary operations began to spread far outside the Northern Territory, the company felt a name change was in order, but they wanted to allow customers to easily adjust, as well as to still honour their founding state, so a complete rebrand was off the table.
Along with this name change came a major order for Boeing aircraft, including the 727, 737, and Boeings new flagship 747 Jumbo Jet.
Before you say something, no, the 747 was not based out of the Northern Territory

Before you guys say something about an airline named after the Northern Territory primarily flying outside the Northern Territory, please remember that Alaska Airlines' primary hub is in Washington state, and Qantas (Queensland Northern Territory Aerial services) primary hub is in New South Wales

Nice job , your Tail are so amazing :)

    this is actually very cool

Rondônia moment where it was based in the Amazon but then it moved and didn't change names for some reason
