After 2 years operate as a standalone carrier, Eastern Indonesia surprisingly announced their new sub-brand. Not just one, but they have two new subsidiaries. It is Eastern S and EasternXL. The Eastern S will focus on regional and short-haul route while the EasternXL on the long-haul network. But they stay fly as Eastern Indonesia name and code.
