A319 neo ACJ

A319 neo ACJ

The first A319 neo ACJ to leave the Airbus factory successfully completed its first flight in 1 hour and 55 minutes.

Faced with the strong growth of business aviation in recent years, the French charter company wanted to offer this kind of high-end flight. In March 2018, the company opened its private subsidiary in direct partnership with the Belgian business company AviaJet which operates Cessna CJ-3 and Bombardier global express.

Very interested in the single aisle Corporate Jet that offers the European aircraft manufacturer and ACJ, a subsidiary of airbus SAS, the hexagonal followed closely the evolution and the commissioning of this A319 CJ in its new version (neo).
In August 2019 the hexagonal and airbus begin discussions for a purchase contract based on a single aircraft.
After several months of negotiation, the French company finally signed a purchase contract of 107 million euros.

The crisis of the COVID-19 put a big brake on this project which was supposed to see the day in July 2020.
The aircraft will finally be delivered at the end of February 2021 with 7 months of delay.
Its first business flight took place on March 06, 2021 between Nice and Zagreb.

To note. The paint scheme is exactly the same as the other aircraft in the fleet with two exceptions.
-The name of the company does not appear on the fuselage.
-The European stars usually represented on the tail fin as on the aircraft of the French national company are also absent. (They are not represented because this aircraft flies for the private subsidiary of the company and not for its basic structure which is the commercial flight in cooperation with Air France. )
