In January 2012 Siciliana returned to jet aircraft with Embrasser E170 from the Brazilian manufacturer.
In fact, since 2008, when the company returned its last A319 to the leasing company Fly Better, the company operated only aircraft equipped with turboprop engines.
The first E170 jetliner to be put into service was the I-GYAC.
It entered service in December 2002 and was purchased by a Bulgarian company along with three other aircraft.
The I-GYAS realized its first commercial flight in the color of Siciliana on January 14th 2012 between Catania and Munich.
The arrival of this reliable aircraft, motivates the company which before had known rather difficult years.
The Italian company currently operates 7 Embraer E170.
