3. China Guangdong B767-300ER

As a transfer from CALC, China Guangdong would take on 5 Boeing 767-300ERs. These 767s would later be joined by a further 25 from 1989 to 1992 they would compliment the airline's Airbus A300s to operate on short haul domestic routes but would also operate many medium to long haul routes to destinations as far as Hawaii via Tokyo Narita. The airline would dedicate 10 767s to sole operate the high demand, high density domestic services being fitted with a dense 320 seat all economy class cabin while the remaining 15 International 767s were configured with a spacious 270 seat two class cabin. Ultimately the 767s would retire in 2010 to make way for the new 787 Dreamliners and all 30 767s would be replaced by 32 new 787-8s.
