- Album Raines Air Systems: A Complete History
Raines' future seems to be orientated towards twinjets. The production of the Boeing 747 started to wind down in 2020 and the last 747 aircraft are due for Raines in late 2022. Some 747-400Fs are already due for retirement and replacements are needed.
In 2019, GECAS and IAI launched the 777-300ERF program with the first conversion starting in 2020. Raines Air was the second airline to order the conversion after American cargo airline Herculean Air. Raines currently has an outstanding order of 5 777-300ERFs.
In March of 2022, Raines ordered 5 new Boeing 777-8F aircraft.
These new aircraft are poised to replace older Boeing 747 aircraft.
Excellent , well done
