as vn's– or vasco's– or whatever u wanna call it's ATR fleet is getting old they announced that they are seeking a replacement. with dien bien phu and con dao airports being upgraded to receive larger narrow body jets it's expected that they'll order something of the size of the A220/E190 aircraft to replace the ATR 72s. i expect they'd probably be introduced in the vn livery so that they can be used on low-demand international routes as well, but who knows.

i could but i doubt they'd go for the E190, they already have a massive fleet of airbus aircraft and iirc they cancelled or suspended their orders for the 320N so they could convert their orders to 220s... possibly, but i doubt they'd go for embraer jets.
