A350-1000

The Airbus A350-1000 will enter service with the Cambodian airline at the end of 2019.
Cambodia Anilines launched a fleet modernisation programme in late 2016. This programme will last until 2024. After the success of the A350-900 on the long-haul market, the 1000 version of the European twin-engine aircraft was launched in November 2016.
Following its certification, the extended version of the A350-900 entered service on 24 February 2018.
Cambodia airlines placed an order for 5 aircraft on 19 June 2017. The company sees this aircraft as an opportunity to rejuvenate its long haul fleet with new, economical aircraft equipped with new technology and a range of over 16,000 km.
The company received its first aircraft on 04 January 2019, registered XU-LJE. It will make its first commercial flight on the Phnom Penh and Frankfurt route. Currently (July 2022) the company has 3 of these 5 planes ordered. The other two aircraft will be delivered at the end of September and mid November 2022. Gradually the 5 Airbus A350-1000 will be placed on very long haul routes with direct flights to Toronto, New York and Washington DC.
