Boeing 737-700 and 737-800

Boeing 737-700 and 737-800

Wishing to replace the aging 737 classic aircraft, CANAC would place an order for several Boeing 737-700 and 737-800 aircraft in 1997. The 737-700 would gradually replace the 737-300 and the 737-800 would replace the 737-400.

The airline would also rebrand in 1999. The new 737s would be the first ones to wear this new livery. The process of repainting the whole fleet would end in 2003.

N471CN was the first Next Generation aircraft delivered to the airline in July of 1999. It was fitted with 8 first class seats and 120 economy seats.

N451CN was the first 737-800 delivered in November 1999. It was fitted with 12 first class seats and 148 economy seats.
