As CANAC expanded, the need for wide body aircraft to suppliment popular routes increased. To remedy this, the airline ordered 5 Boeing 767-200ERs and 3 767-300ERs. The first one delivered was a 200 given to CANAC in 1991.

N767CN was the first 767 delivered to the airline. It served with them until 2001 and was sold to Transaero Airlines. It was stored at Shannon after being withdrawn in 2012 and was preserved at a glamping village in Ireland.

N485CN was delivered in 1992 and served CANAC until 2000, when it was sold to Candian Airlines. It would later serve Alitalia and finally the national airline of Bolivia. It flies with them to this day.

The 767 was short lived with CANAC. This was due to the lack of demand of wide bodies from Central America and the consoldiation of the fleet going into the 21st century. The 767-200 was retired in 2001 while the 300 was retired early in 2000 due to it's larger size.
