Blueline Airways In-flight Entertainment System (NEW)

Blueline Airways In-flight Entertainment System (NEW)

In 2021, our IFE had been running strong for over 10 years. But it had fallen behind the standards of other airlines. they updated to newer and better technologies and features that Blueline was lacking in. So with the new logo of the airline coming up they decided to create an updated IFE for the refurbished cabin. But David Moss, the member of the board that came up with many of the groundbreaking features that Blueline offered had passed away in 2019. So they kept debating on what to do for the design....Until one man rose to the challenge.

Marty Wells was a 23-year-old fresh out of college and he was mentored by David Moss and Moss was an old family friend. Many of Moss's Tactics and teachings passed on to Marty and he used it to rise up in the ranks of Blueline headquarters. After getting a special meeting with the board he showed them his idea for the new IFE. His plan included a similar design on the seat-back, but new software and content available. The content included the same categories that the old IFE had; but with upgrades and adding a kids zone, a place to shop/dine for Blueline products onboard, special categories for different routes/franchises/seasons, & a featured movie category that shows the top box-office hits of each month. Other updates include increasing the channels on the live-tv from 100+ to 200+ channels, adding more movies to the movies section, more seasons of tv shows, & more games/puzzles.

The board was skeptical of this "new guy's plans" for the new IFE. But Harold Barnes, a senior member of the board supported Marty's plan and was able to sway the board to his side. Fast-forward to April 1st, 2022. Blueline Airways releases the new IFE system on the newest aircrafts in the fleet. The first flight was a brand new Airbus A350 replacing an older 777 flying from San Francisco (SFO) to Singapore (SIN). Now every new aircraft and older aircrafts painted in the new livery has this new IFE system. So far about 10% (or about 100 aircraft) have this new IFE system. After it's success, Marty Wells got a really good promotion to Project Manager of re-developing the airline's lounges. (It won't be the last of his career.)
