Sun Costa Rica | TI-FBV

2016 through 2019 was just operations as usual for SUN Costa Rica. On April 20th, 2016 a sixth Caravan was delivered, TI-FBV, nicknamed after popular Costa Rican singer Chavela Vargas. This aircraft was the only aircraft in the fleet to have the new 2016 livery painted on it.

In early 2020, plans to expand operations into the Caribbean were brought to the drawing board. Unfortunately, the plans were put on hold come March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The mostly tourism-based airline did not last long, closing doors and ending operations on July 7th 2020.
