In 2016, Wright Airways placed its first order for the Bombardier C-Series (soon to become the Airbus A220). Despite the company's love for the trusty Boeing 717 and its legacy of operating DC-9 family aircraft for several decades, Wright's management realized that since the 717 was no longer in production it was time to start looking for a replacement as some of the oldest Boeing's began approaching 20 years of service. The initial order was for 15 A220-100s and 15 A220-300s along with options for 30 more aircraft.
The A220 entered service with Wright in late 2019, operating from the Nashville hub, and quickly became a favorite with passengers and airline employees. Unfortunately, the downturn in the airline industry during 2020 hurt the company and forced deliveries to be delayed. However, as domestic air travel rebounded in 2021, Wright used the opportunity to replace some of the oldest 717s earlier than planned in order to achieve better operating costs with the A220s.
Ship 223 (N223WR) was delivered to Wright in late-2019 and is equipped with 12 First and 115 Coach seats. Each seat offers free seatback IFE and in-flight wifi.

True ! ! !
I like the tail being patterned with the logo - it's a really nice touch - but I might stan the old colours more than these new ones
This is lovely!
A220 always works.

You mean add in the lighter blue?
This is lovely!
Thanks!
A220 always works.
Yeah, the A220 is just such a great plane
You mean add in the lighter blue?
I mean the colour scheme from the old Wright modern livery, I think the new orange is a little too bright and I liked the old blue as well more
Brilliant job! That font is really nice!

Oh, it's the same colors...just the effects on the template make it look different on the A220.
