McCoy Airlines 757-200(WL) “Memphis” livery N153MC

McCoy Airlines 757-200(WL) “Memphis” livery N153MC

McCoy added it’s hub in Memphis when it merged with Blues Air in mid 1978. Throughout the years the airline has been using Memphis as a secondary southeast hub (after the Super hub in Orlando). With premier routes like MEM-LHR and MEM-AMS, Memphis is so useful for McCoy due to its geographic position, this is due to it being located near the mean population center of the US.
About the Livery: This 757 depicts the one of the most interesting skylines in the US, more specifically one certain building, the Bass Pro Shop pyramid, this striking building has a height of 321 feet tall making it one of the world’s largest pyramids, as well as a dominating figure on the skyline. Along with the pyramid the livery also depicts the famous Hernando De Soto bridge which connects West Memphis Arkansas to Memphis proper.
