Fleet Expansion

Fleet Expansion

In January of 1998, Oliver Greene and Noah Wilde, went on a mission, a mission to get some aircraft. They contacted Airbus and started conversations and the thoughts of ordering 12 A320 family planes. After a few weeks of negotiations and debates Airbus agreed to make them the 12 aircraft they came for. A few months later, the first aircraft were almost finished! But the designing team were having trouble coming up with a livery for the aircraft.

The reason why? Oliver Greene is a very stubborn person and won't accept anything that doesn't look exactly like what he envisions. So after another 2 weeks of arguing and fighting he finally agreed to a design that looked somewhat like he envisioned. The aircrafts design was simple, the name pasted onto the side while a red background with a white stripe was put on the tail. The tail would show the icon for the airline and it would also be placed on the engine.

With the designers and Oliver in agreement they sent the design over to the manufacturing team. After being fully furnished and painted the aircraft was sent over to the airline to begin operations. The first flight of Tundra's first A320 flew from Vancouver to Toronto on July 1st, 1998. A few weeks later the first A319 flew from Vancouver to Calgary on July 27th, 1998. As more aircraft came to the airline they expanded operations and added new flights to Cancun, and Nassau. The airbus planes attracted new customers and many said that the airbus planes had the nicest seats, and the nicest cabin out of the fleet. (which I mean is true)

A few years after the arrival of the first Airbus planes. The airline was celebrating its 14th year of operations when the unthinkable happened....
