Bombardier CRJ-200

Bombardier CRJ-200

In 1989, Calumet would set an order that would secure the airline's destiny.

They announced that they would order 5 CRJ-100s and 5 CRJ-200s, with options for 5 more CRJ-200s. These would operate regional routes along the Great Lakes and Midwest region. In 1993 the first CRJ-100 would arrive to the fleet with the 200 coming in 1995. A few years prior, the airline updated their image, and these aircraft would be the first new airplanes to wear the livery.

Starting in 1998, The CRJ-200s would begin operating for United Express and Delta Connection. Delta voided the contract in 2012 and United began switching to Calumet's CRJ-700s in 2017. 11 CRJ-200s operated exclusively for Calumet's independent operations up until the airline ceased operations.

(It is important to note that this livery was subject to an international dispute between Falcon Polish Airlines and Calumet. In 1992 (a year after Calumet rebranded) Falcon unveiled it's new brand identity, with a logo that was identical to Calumet's. The airline promptly sued Falcon, and the resulting dispute resulted in public discussion on the broad nature of international lawsuits. In 1994, Calumet Airlines v. Falcon Polish National Airlines was brought to court. The judge ruled in favor of Calumet, and Falcon was forced to pay out the lawsuit and ultimately rebrand again.)

    now this is really nice

This livery looks great! Nicely done!

Still kinda iffy on the use of real life airlines in the lore, though that's just a personal preference

This is the look - I'm not entirely sold on the kind of funky gap between the bird wing and the cheatstripes but other than that this is nice
