Air New Zealand 767-300ER

THe 767 proved to be a useful aircraft for Air New Zealand, flying to many destinations that the 787 Dreamliners now fly to.

This particular 767, ZK-NCG, was one of the airplanes in the Air New Zealand fleet that wore a 'Lord Of The Rings' special livery, but it was repainted ~2009 (I think) and at the same time was retrofitted with winglets.

In total, Air New Zealand operated 11 767-300ERs, with the first one entering service in 1991. However, with the 787s rolling in, and the growing age of the aircraft, the end of the 767 with Air New Zealand was drawing nearer and nearer. The final 767 flight occurred on 31 March 2017 as NZ105 AKL-SYD and NZ108 SYD-AKL with ZK-NCI.

ZK-NCG: 1993 Boeing 767-319ER | Air New Zealand | Currently: Active as a cargo freighter with Amazon Prime Air as N419AZ (operated by Air Transport International for Amazon Prime Air)
