Air Turkey Boeing 777-9X

At the Dubai Airshow in November 2013, Boeing officially unveiled the Boeing 777X. There were quite a few airlines who decided to order this updated version of Boeing's very successful VLA (very large airplane). Air Turkey was one of them. Air Turkey placed an order for 25 777-9Xs on Day 2 of the Dubai Air Show, with options for a further 15 aircraft. The 777X was expected to enter service with Air Turkey late 2023, however this has been pushed back to early or even maybe mid 2024. many of these 777X aircraft will replace older 777-300ERs in the fleet. This aircraft depicted, TC-TKA, will be the first one to be delivered and to enter service, whenever that may be.

TC-TKA: 2023(ish) Boeing 777-9(x) | Air Turkey | Currently: Being built on the manufacturing line in Everette, Washington (USA), to enter service ~2024
