Coromandel Air is a small niche regional airline focused exclusively on the Coromandel Peninsula and the upper North Island of New Zealand. The airline only has 14 aircraft, and was established back in 1962, with roots dating back to the 40s. Founded by John C. Thames on 14 April 1962, Coromandel Air has been flying to small airports in the upper North Island its entire existence.
