Palawings was formerly named as Palawan Air Express with scheduled flights from Puerto Princesa to Manila and Cebu, The airline retired the DC-9's in 2002 due to costs and lack of passengers
One of the Aircraft was returned to lessor, while one stored in a Private airfield for 13 years till it was made part of a Resort Infrastructure
