Honoring Our Heritage

Starting in 2015 McCoy began painting some of its aircraft in special heritage liveries as a way of remembering how things used to be. Both the interior and exterior of these aircraft are changed back to what they looked like during the time that the livery depicts. Show above are 2 such examples, N479BL, a Mitsubishi Mrj700 operates on the behalf of Blues Air out of the airlines hub in Memphis. The livery is the one that would have been operated by McCoy Jetconnect from 1973 to 2013, along with the exterior the interior of both the mainline and regional aircraft is fitted with blue plaid seat patterns and navy blue carpets, the A220 is fitted with blue mood lighting. N920MC, a Airbus A220-100 is also painted in “Hockey Stick” livery which was painted on mainline aircraft from 1973 to 1993.

    love to see this back
